I just got done watching all eight videos in this series. Wow! That was long.. lol

While there are many things that I would never buy, you have given me some good ideas on things that I really need to pick up. Since I don’t do a lot of hiking, most of the things that I could use, would also work in my BOB. For example, things like trioxane tablets, fatwood, various pieces of synthetic clothing, and one those compact emergency sleeping bags, amongst other things.

    Thanks for all the info!

Any chance you can do reviews on using ALICE packs, more specifically the Large Alice pack, and the BLACKHAWK!® Enhanced Large ALICE Ruck Sack? I’ve also heard some people are now putting MOLLE straps and kidney belts on the ALICE b/c it increases comfortability. BTW, your videos ROCK! I wish they had this when I was a young jarhead!

I absolutely loved this series of videos. I thought they were very helpful and i’m going to recommend all of my backpacking friends watch them. I also think it is so cool that you take your dog with you and she carriers her own pack. It has always been one of my goals in life to have a nice well trained dog like that, that i can actually take on trips. Keep doing what you do!

A+ Just watched all 8 vids tonight, wow!
Nutnfancy, thanks for all the time and dedication you put into EACH and every video. These backpacking vids are excellent. I’m currently a fan of hiking in and setting up camp, (maybe the AT someday) so these are dead on. Excellent tip with submersing cold items for refrigeration – awesome idea. Thank you sir.
Keep up the top notch work my fellow sheepdog!

Hi dude, greetings from Russia! You didn’t mention a watcher system you use. Compass, barometer, thermometer could be important in a several days hike.
