@rocktruggy03 But did you know that camp dry spray or waterproofing spray is flammable.

The interior straps and loops are to secure a radio. The openings at the top are for the antenna.

@lilartist10 Cordura Nylon is pretty water resistant on it’s own, but not waterproof. There are spray on products out there like Camp Dry that you could apply to any pack to improve it’s water resistance.

I have used this in the field for a few years now and works great. I love the padding on the shoulders and the back. The side pockets carry 5 pmags in each. You can also through a few large 30 cal ammo cans in the main pack with the tie downs in there and holds the weight just fine. And yea its not water proof but in rain it has not gotten to soaked. Thanks for the review

Got the BFM 500 few years back from a gunshow. Outstanding packback. 500 is almost the same except molle on the sidepockets and 3litre bladder. Boots and packback are the most important gear in bad situation. No use getting stingy when buying those two. Good ones will last for a lifetime while cheapo will certainly fail you.

@TheMan4547 depends what its for. the empty weight on the Eberlestock bags are like 10 lbs,. . . . . that should be a factor i thnk.
like I said, depends what you are going to be using it for.

I’m looking at different packs and narrowed down between the Camelbak BFM and one of the Elberelstock Packs (F4,G4, or skyhook) If you had one bag, what would it be?

@jolietjake1970 yes, it did. . . 2 liter bladder with screw top and hose

@HEEBprepper for a tall guy I have a failry short torso, and this pack fits nice. The last pack i used for this purpose was like that, the maxpedition Condor II. . . way too small for me.

Great Pack. Had my eyes on one of those for a while. Youre a tall guy, how does it fit you? I have a long torso and finding a comfortable pack is tough. Usually the belt hits around my belly not my hips
