Gee, this is the first Alcohol stove video/site that I have visited that is descriptive enough for ANYONE to understand. I was unsure how to keep the cans together. You don’t glue them or anything? Now I can make one myself. Thanks A LOT! I’ve been looking for detailed instructions for a few days. This is the most basic model I have seen, using basic tools around the house. Much appreciated :)

curiously: in a pinch, could you use alcohol hand sanitizer instead of other types of alcohol?

    -Let it burn out
    - try to blow it out
    - snuff it/ take away the oxygen. Like put a bean can over it.

I like it. made it very simple. neat and efficient. I’m thinking of making 4 of these, sitting them 4 square on the ground and see if a large pan will fit on it. Survival for one person is great, but survival for a few people to feed you gotta think big.

    Thanks

Very nice stove. Hope to see it in action. How about a demo video? I agree with Mr Bill it is not really a penny stove but very close to being on.

A penny stove actually uses a coin to cover larger fill hole, and act like a pressure relief valve.
