What should I look for in a camping tent?

We are going camping near the beach and were wondering what we should look for when purchasing a tent.

Either double or triple stitched taped seams. bathtub style flooring. Double coated waterproofing. Shock corded Aluminum poles(not fiberglass).

    U should look for a tent that has alot of stuff that help block out water because trust me ive had 3 experences w/my tent and they were horible. So try to get a good one that is water resistant and if more people are going to be in the tent maybe get a bigger one or if a person wats privicy get one that comes with tent dividors so hope i help

    I like a tent that has a lot of mesh screen on the top for summer camping so I can look at the stars at night . But the tent must have a large rain fly for when it is needed. You should look for one that has a water proof floor.
