    Does the waterproof pu coating make the hammock’sticky’in hot humid environments?or is it breathable like goretex type material?.I like the option of using the hammock on the ground as a bivvy when the ground is wet or heavy rain is expected when there’s no trees around,but in Australia summer’s are hot and/or quite humid,and I’m thinking I should get the’Frontline’version of DDhammock for this reason since the double layers are totally breathable but not waterproof?Excellent video,thnx4posting

    I got my dd daypack around xmas, did a premier test of the product yesterday, my weight is 130 kg and it worked very well. I did not sleep in it thought just set it up and tested it. I am looking forward to test it out for real =)

    I got my DD in 2007 and have used it a lot since. A friend of mine really liked it, and when i showed him your video’s be bought the new 2008 version.

    Last weekend we took it for a 4 day camp out, and he was really happy with it, only problem he had was that the forgot to check if it was tied of properly when he wanted to sit down, and the whole thing came down with him :) . I couldn’t stop laughing.

    But now he’ll remember to check it first.

    Just bought one and …
    Just bought one and slept two nights in it. Works great. Offcourse it takes a night to get used to; setting it up right is the biggest trick.
    Very recommended gear for a very sharp price. Check DDs site!

    No it doesn’t zip off. Just turn it upside down like on the video and you’ve got a normal hammock.

    Cheers Pablo, i have been looking at getting all new kit as i have not bought anything since my teenage years camping. Its time to shop for ALL new kit. Im very excited, and happy to see this oen. Im going for versatility and durability this time around and this looks to fit the bill for light sleeping. Does the mozzie net unzip completely so i can take it off?

    Brilliant job! I have camped using a home built hammock tent. The most difficult job is getting into your sleeping bag and then into the hammock. Then pray you do not have to get up in the middle of the night.

    The design features give this piece of gear lots of utility. Thats what makes it really special. Thanks for the review. Great video production!
