I went to the website and they had a travel hammock and a tarp deal for
$86 US and they charge $50 shipping per order no matter the number shipped. $50 shipping is what broke the deal for me I am not going to pay that for shipping it is in the fine print. I want to know why Cabelas or Bass Pro don’t carry tent hammocks the demand is there. Why should I have to pay $136 for a $86 purchase?
Very nice. I just wish they would make more of their products available to Americans (the 2008 hammock is not yet available, nor are the tarps available).
Another superb video review, Thanks Pablo! How about starting a podcast on iTunes? Both your instructional vids & reviews are great. All the best, Nightwalker.
Hi mate,
The ebay picture is a standard hammock with the top layer used as a cover. It’s usual though to put insulation between the layers.
The mossie net is much better as it lets you breath. There’s still the two layers to put in some insulation.
I have seen something simular to that on ebay but rather that a net it used material like what the base is made from, it made me wonder how stuffy it would be in there, a net seem much better set up.:)

Thanks Pablo. DD Hammocks are some of the best on the market including their tarps. We will use them in 2011 in our bushcraft courses and expeditions.
