hiking backpacks for Africa help?

soo i’ve just been told that i need a hiking backpack.
help!
haha i have no idea what im looking for
anyways, i need to have clothing enough for a little over a month.
so if anyone could help me, or send me some links to websites that have backpacks that would be awesome!
i go to uganda in a month, a month friday actually
so please help

i actually wont be able to wash clothes, only by hand so jeans (that we’re required to wear) will take forever to dry. im only taking a few pairs
also, we wont be living in all-inclusive. ill be working in orphanages and villages with ex-child soldiers

Also, basspro shops or cabelas or any large outdoor store will have lots of packs. I strongly suggest you go in and try them on, if at all possible.

First of all, you don’t need to have clothing enough for a little over a month – you’ll have to face the facts and wash your clothes during your trip (probably by hand). Also, no one can help answer if they don’t know what you will be doing. If you will be staying in all inclusive lodging you will need much less than if you are camping with all your own gear… and you will be able to use a smaller pack.

ll I can say is light weight clothes and things that you wear well that you dont have to wash after 1 wear
