I have a stove that screws right on the top of a 1 lb propane bottle, is it possible to get more flame/pressure out of it?
A review on the Truflare bear banger kit, and first launch in action. The banger is as loud as 115db…so turn up the volume…hehe!. Very impressive. This kit is a must for all avid bushman who live in bear country. If you don’t carry a rifle this is your best option along with bear spray.

This is based on Jason Klass’ ‘Klasslite stove,’ but it’s a bit more stout (and slightly heavier consequently.) I’ve added two more tea light containers. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol for fuel, and it boils 2 cups of water in a little over 5 minutes at 5280 feet. The problem with this model is that although it boils water quickly, it runs out of fuel in a little over 7 minutes. Thanks to Jason Klass for his video: www.youtube.com

Let’s Take a look at the MSR Pocket Rocket Camp Stove. This stove is fueled by Isopro fuel cylinders. It weights in at 3 oz. in the carry case. This lightweight backpacking stove is a great option for cooking and preparing food at camp, in the field, on the trail or in a bug out situation. It is also very affordable at around $40.00. I will show you the stove, how it functions and test it for an approximate boil time.
