We’ll be going through West Virginia and Pennsylvania. We plan to sleep in a tent but I was thinking we could just pull off the road and stick a bag in the window, hike into the woods about 20 feet and set up a tent. Any ideas? I really wish I could just pitch a tent at rest areas but I’m sure that’s illegal. Looking for free sleep. No reason we should have to pay just to sleep.
