On and off rain (mostly on) throughout the trip. Water levels were really high in the creeks, everything was green and the park was mostly vacant. Note: Original plan was to start at the West end of Mission peak, and do the whole Ohlone Regional Wilderness Trail including where we camped in the movie. Backpacking The San Pedro Parks Wilderness in the Santa Fe National Forest. Located just outside (east) of Cuba, NM. This area has an abundents of water in the spring and early summer and many hiking/backpacking trails throughout the wilderness. The Continential Divide Trail runs through portions of the San Pedro Parks Wilderness. With all the snow during our journey through the winderness, we past up one of the return trails back to complete our 12 mile loop and ended up hiking an additional 4.5 miles or so. Every journey is a learning experience.</p>
